LANARK — The Lanark City Park was enhanced with a new River Birch tree, thanks to the Lanark Tree Board and Sweitzer Nursery on Arbor Day Friday, April 27.

Tree Board member Renee Krick said, “We know how important it is to plant trees. For every tree we take out, we like to put one back in. We took around 20 trees down in town last year due to the emerald ash borer.”
