The Eastland Girls Basketball team has succeeded in defeating the East Dubuque, 53-40, at tonight’s regionals game. Eastland moves on to Game 1 of Monday’s Sectionals Contest at Eastland High School.
Doors will open at 5:00 p.m., and the game will start at 6:00 p.m. for Monday’s game. Aquin beat Durand 66-53, tonight at the Durand Regionals game in Durand, so they will take on Eastland at the Sectionals Contest, on Monday.
Game 2 of the Sectionals Contest will begin on Tuesday, February 12th at Eastland High School in Lanark, at 7 p.m. The teams playing will be Stockton and Dakota, who both came out victorious at the regionals games they played tonight.
Game 3 of the Eastland Section will be the winners of Games 1 and 2, and will also be at Eastland. The game will take place on Thursday, February 14th at 7:00 p.m.
It should be a very exciting week for all the teams progressing to the Sectionals Contest. RiverReader will have photos and coverage and updates as the scores roll in over the weekend.
