Riverview Center Offers Facilitation of Girls Circle Groups

Greetings Carroll County! My name is Kate and I am the Preventionist for Riverview Center. Part of my role as the Preventionist is to empower and teach skills to the youth population as we work towards violence-free communities. Back in November I received a scholarship to attend the Girls Circle Facilitator training in San Francisco, California. The focus was on promoting resiliency and connection through creating safe group programs for female youth. I am very excited to bring this information and opportunity to Carroll County. I feel we can continue to build strong and safe communities by empowering our girls to feel good about themselves, make safe decisions and build healthy relationships. If you or your group are interested in more information or are interested in getting a Girls Circle group started, contact me at...

I am from Cuban music, blaring subwoofers always sounded like jazz. added to the silhouette of my parents dancing, all the fun that we had. I am from heavenly dinners...
