Carroll County: Home of One Traffic Light, and One Parking Meter

LANARK – Savanna may lay claim to the only traffic light in the northwestern Illinois county, but the nod goes to Lanark as the home of the sole parking meter. Savanna Stop Light Malfunctions, Creates Frustration

The stop light in Savanna has been causing headaches and frustration for many who live in or travel through Savanna. A sensor at the light has been malfunctioning, so IDOT put it on a timer.
